A New Generation for Even Greater Future-Proofing
CEMB has introduced a new generation of non-contact monitoring systems based on eddy current technology. As part of this generational change, the proven T-NC/8-API and TR-NC/8 components are being gradually replaced by the new NC-8000 and NC-8420 models.
The new components offer improvements in terms of installation, reliability, integration, and long-term availability.
The new successor models at a glance
→ T-NC/8-API → NC-8000
→ TR-NC/8 → NC-8420
What does this generational change mean for you?
The replacement process is straightforward: The new models were developed with a focus on maximum backward compatibility.
- 1:1 interchangeable – Plug & Play
The NC-8000 replaces the T-NC/8-API, and the NC-8420 replaces the TR-NC/8. Both successor models can be deployed without any changes to the existing infrastructure. - Connections
Mounting points and electrical pin assignments are identical.
Additional advantages of the new generation:
- Compact design with minimal space requirements
- Full compatibility with existing sensors and transducers
- Snap-on mounting on standard DIN rails
- Removable terminal block for faster installation
- Improved quality, reliability, and performance
- Available with SIL 2, IECEx, or ATEX certification
- Future-proof components for long-term availability of replacement parts and support
Availability
The T-NC/8-API and TR-NC/8 models are being phased out and replaced by the NC-8000 and NC-8420, respectively. The new generation is automatically offered for new systems. For replacement and spare parts, the previous models can still be supplied for a limited time—while supplies last.
Do you need a replacement for an existing T-NC/8-API or TR-NC/8?
We’d be happy to assist you in selecting the right successor model.
