Hofmann's automatic and dynamic two plane tire balancing machines, type ARS, are designed for precise measuring the dynamic and static imbalance of motorcycle, passenger car, light truck, truck and SUV tires. The machine features split high-precision rims and a 5 inch orifice width adjustment. The orifice width adjustment works automatically and is test map-dependent to ensure a high production volume.
The dynamic balancing machine is designed to determine the imbalance of tires by using a force measuring system. The machine for tire balancing with the Hofmann tire uniformity measuring machine RGM-E can be linked to a tire grading system ATG-E/D. By extending the Hofmann ARS with our Hofmann sheet-of-light laser geometry measuring system GEO-SLS the machine is perfectly designed for testing tires.
Our static balancing machine, type EVD automatically determines the static unbalance. With a Hofmann tire uniformity measuring machine RGM-E the static balancing machine EVD can also be combined to a tire grading line ATG-E/D.
The variants of our tire balancing machines
We offer the following variants of tire balancing machines:
Balancing machine for dynamic tire balancing of car tires
Balancing machine for dynamic tire balancing of motorcycle Tires
Balancing machine for dynamic tire balancing of light truck tires
Balancing machine for static balancing of car and truck tires
The tire balancing machines ARS can be optionally equipped with the Sheet-of-Light Laser System. In fully automatic mode they can be operated with the options of soaping, infeed, marking the unbalance position and sorting. However, it is also designed for manual loading.
