Support for the campaign Face Shields against Corona

The effects of the global Covid-19 pandemic present us with new challenges. Especially in times like these, it is important for us at Hofmann to offer our support. This is why we supported the "3D printer against Corona" campaign run by the Youth research AG Neustadt in April. Our 3D printing network at Hofmann produced 50 parts for plastic shields to provide a barrier to people’s faces. We donated these parts for further processing to Youth research AG Neustadt and hope that they help the medical staff in the hospitals in these difficult times.

For a few days now, the 3D printers of our colleagues from the mechanical design department have been in full operation again. After the call of the school Gauss Gymnasium from Worms, we are happy to support the campaign "Face Shields against Corona" and to promote also this campaign with over 50 parts for plastic shields.

We hope that our contribution can support the medical staff, who are doing a great job especially in these days, in their valuable work.
