What is a wheel assembly machine and why are the rims and tires soaped? 

Our wheel assembly machine mounts the tires on the rims fully automatically, creating a complete wheel. Assembly is possible in batch mode and in chaotic mixed mode in the shortest possible cycle times. The feeding, detection, soaping and mounting of tires and rims is performed fully automatically by the machine. Thanks to type-dependent process monitoring, we guarantee optimum processing and quality.

When a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) is used, it is positioned before the tire is mounted to prevent damage to the valve and the electronics. Torque monitoring of the mounting process also plays an important role in preventing damage to the tire during assembly. Monitoring and adjusting the torque ensures that the tire is fitted optimally.

For effortless and quick fitting, the rims and tires are sufficiently lubricated by the spray nozzles in the machine so that the tire can be fitted easily.
