Development of our new corporate mission statements

In order to move in a goal-oriented direction, we need orientation and clarity in life. This is not only true for every single one of us, but also for companies.

Hofmann Maschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH would like to shape its future more clearly. For this reason, we will be working together in various teams over the next few weeks to develop new corporate mission statements. Corporate mission statements serve as a compass and consist of a vision, a mission and the values of a company.

In the kick-off workshop with our managers, the foundation for the new vision was laid.

But the colleagues first had to solve a difficult task. At the beginning of the workshop, they were handed a marshmallow, some spaghetti and a meter of tape. The aim of the challenge was to build tower constructions as high as possible and to position the marshmallow on top. The focus was on teamwork, creativity and fun in the so-called Marshmallow Challenge.

And as in the development of the vision, the challenge was to arrive at the solution with clarity and creativity. Thus, the Marshmallow Challenge was the perfect introduction to the development of the company's mission statement.

With the creation of the vision, the first important step has been taken. Now we can move forward.
