Anna Kappesser

- Travel Manager -

“My everyday life is spontaneous, varied, and brings me into contact with people who have exciting travel stories to share.”

Anna Kappesser has been working at Hofmann since the summer of 2024 and is active in travel management. She joined us immediately after graduating from Worms University of Applied Sciences and took over the entire travel department. From organizing business trips to managing our booking system, she is the central contact person when it comes to our employees' travel needs.

Whether it's hotels, rental cars, flights, or visas, she takes care of all the details and ensures that our employees arrive safely worldwide. We can say about Anna Kappesser that she is our expert for everything related to travel - competent, flexible, and always one step ahead.

We asked Anna to write a few words about herself and her everyday life at Hofmann:

My day-to-day work in travel management is very varied. I organize business trips, obtain the necessary documents, and negotiate framework agreements with our providers. I find it particularly exciting that no two trips are the same—every booking brings new requirements and sometimes spontaneous changes. This makes the work varied and lively. But I also find interacting with employees really interesting, especially when they talk about their various travel experiences. The most important thing, however, is communicating with employees before and after their trips, as this is the only way to optimize bookings.

My most exciting project so far has been managing our major project in Hungary. Many employees were on site for an extended period of time, and it was important that everything ran smoothly. I really enjoyed the intensive preparation and planning. It was especially nice that I was given so much trust so soon after starting at Hofmann.

If I had to describe Hofmann in three words, they would be: friendly, collegial, and varied. For me, it's important to have a job that I enjoy, that motivates me, and that constantly offers new challenges. The contact with my colleagues and service providers enriches my everyday life and gives me the opportunity to continuously develop personally and professionally.

I also love to travel in my free time, so my job fits my interests perfectly and is a constant source of inspiration. I have also been dancing in a show dance group in a carnival club since I was a child. To unwind, I like to read an exciting thriller or a good fantasy novel.

One of my most memorable travel experiences was my semester abroad in Canada: I spent a semester there during my studies and immediately felt at home. The warmth of the people and the impressive diversity of nature—especially in British Columbia—made a lasting impression on me.

And here's something funny to finish with: as a true native of the Palatinate, I naturally remain loyal to my wine spritzer!
