What exactly does our wheel balancing machine do—and what is it used for?
Even minimal imbalances in car wheels can have noticeable consequences: vibrations in the steering wheel, increased wear, and reduced driving stability.
Our answer to this: the fully automatic AWS-R two-plane wheel balancing machine. It reliably detects and compensates for any deviation – for perfectly running wheels.
Your advantages at a glance:
- Maximum driving comfort – imbalances are precisely detected and compensated for, making annoying vibrations a thing of the past.
- Increased safety – stability and directional stability are guaranteed even at high speeds.
- Efficient production – longer service life for tires and chassis components thanks to even load distribution.
How the AWS-R works:
- The wheel is held in place by a high-precision clamping device that fixes it precisely in the centering bore.
- A force-measuring system determines both static and dynamic imbalance in the shortest possible cycle time.
- All wheel-type-dependent parameters are stored in the test plan – the machine adjusts automatically.
- The integrated marking unit marks the balancing position directly on the tire.
What makes it special: The AWS-R can be seamlessly integrated into our modern wheel assembly lines and used for both imbalance measurement and control measurement. In combination with our Hofmann balancing stands or a control balancing machine, it creates a highly efficient system for ensuring wheel quality.
