Vanessa Nikitidis

- HR Generalist -

“I always have an open ear for our employees and am happy to help whenever I can.”

Vanessa Nikitidis has been working as an HR Generalist at Hofmann since the beginning of 2024. She discovered her enthusiasm for human resources during her commercial training. Since then, she has worked continuously in the HR field – both in large corporations and in smaller companies.

At Hofmann, Vanessa is responsible for HR processes from A to Z. She supports employees and managers from recruitment to departure. We can therefore say about Vanessa Nikitidis that she combines professional competence with genuine closeness to people – which is exactly what makes her so valuable to our team.

We asked Vanessa to write a few words about herself and her everyday life at Hofmann:

In my work, I particularly appreciate the interaction with our employees. I enjoy being the point of contact for all concerns and am happy to provide advice and assistance—whether it's questions about time management, labor law issues, or even personal concerns. It's important to me that I am there for our employees and can offer them support.

My responsibilities are very varied: from time management to certification, recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, and preparing payroll accounting – no two days are the same. I feel particularly at home in medium-sized companies because I can work closely with people and gain valuable insights into many processes at the same time.

If I had to describe Hofmann in three words, they would be: friendly, collegial, and flexible. These qualities are also reflected in my everyday life and make work so enjoyable.

In my free time, I travel a lot—I am passionate about traveling and want to see as many new places as possible. I also enjoy meeting up with friends, going shopping, and spending time with my dogs—a pug and a French bulldog.

I would love to live in a sunny place like Florida. There, I would explore the numerous beaches, stroll through the shops, and visit theme parks like Walt Disney World or Universal Studios. Since I have family in Florida, I also know the places off the beaten track, which I particularly like.

And finally, something funny: if I had to choose between coffee and wine, it would definitely always be Rheinhessen wine with Spundekäs! You can actually chase me away with coffee—I don't drink it at all.
